MP Motorsport wins Hankook 24H Dubai 2022

At the Dubai circuit, MP Motorsport completed 584 laps in 24 hours and was not yet a lap ahead of number 2.

During training, the Mercedes AMG GT3 still had some imbalance, but the team worked hard to resolve this, according to Daniel de Jong. Times were fast and there was hope for a podium finish. Especially after qualifying, in which the team of Henk and Daniël de Jong, Bert de Heus and Jaap van Lagen set the fastest time in their class, there was confidence in a good result. In the crowded field of 84 cars, there was a lot of caution and overtaking, but apart from a single touch there were no technical problems. Especially at night this provides spectacular overtaking actions and images, but after 24 hours there was a fantastic result. Daniël: “This is a great result and a good start for 2022.”
