1 April 2019 Last weekend De Jong Packaging took delivery of nine brand new trucks of the DAF XF 450 FT Super Space Cab. The keys were handed over to the drivers on Saturday 30th March by Truckland Rotterdam in The Netherlands with some festivities.
At Truckland in Rotterdam nine brand new DAF trucks were waiting in the sun for their new drivers. After the official part, handing over the keys and the festivities the trucks left in a row to De Lier, where the corrugated factory of De Jong Packaging is located. Owner Henk de Jong: “Our customers demand faster and more flexible deliveries of their corrugated boxes. With those new trucks we can serve our customers in the fresh produce, food and non food industries even better.”
Last year the company received 8 trucks as well. The nine new trucks will be added to the current fleet. In total the fleet of De Jong Packaging will add up to 38 trucks.
