3 April 2020 On Friday 3 April, De Jong Packaging was present at De Rembrandt nursing home in Oud Beijerland with a colourful campaign. With 200 bunches of flowers all residents and staff were put in the spotlight.
Due to the corona crisis many companies are having a hard time. Henk de Jong: “We have many customers in the horticultural sector and these companies are going through a difficult period. Because our roots are in the Hoeksche Waard, in Westmaas, we have combined this into this action”.
As part of the actions #flowerboostchallenge and #steundesierteelt, all colleagues at De Jong Verpakking had already received a bunch of flowers earlier in the week, but all the people in the health sector also deserve a bit of sociability. A lot of flowers have already been distributed in the Westland and near the flower auctions, but here in the Hoeksche Waard it’s different. With the flowers that have been put together at Van Dijk Flora, these people are happy.
